PLEASE NOTE: This edition is in Ukrainian
The Situation of the Mind by renowned Ukrainian philosopher Anatolii Loi covers selected topics from philosophical anthropology and practical philosophy that are important to the author's views. Ontological implications play a key role in their combination. The implicit presence of motivations within the life process gives philosophical concepts the desired semantic completeness. In this context, the ideas of Kant, Hegel, Arendt, Scheler, Plessner, and others are included. The book also offers a critical perspective on past domestic experiences and some of its figures.
Philosophical anthropology cannot be a standalone, self-contained discipline and remains fundamentally open to mutual enrichment with other philosophical and specialized sciences. It can be seen as an introduction to practical philosophy, but at the same time, it links ontology — the foundation of theoretical philosophy — with practical philosophy.

Please note!
From July 1, 2026, changes have come into effect for international shipments to the European Union.
The EU has abolished the €150 duty-free threshold for international parcels.
A new fixed customs fee has been introduced: €3 per tariff line item in the customs declaration (separate HS code / country of origin). For book orders on our website, this means a single €3 fee per entire order, since books fall under the same tariff code.
This fee is included in the customs value and affects the subsequent calculation of import VAT.
You will need to pay this duty regardless of the shipping cost. The customs fee is a separate charge collected during customs clearance and is not included in the cost of shipping or the goods themselves.
Each EU country may have its own specifics regarding the application of customs payments, so please check with the relevant sources (your country's customs authority) before placing your order.
