Прозора Лілі
PLEASE NOTE: This edition is in Ukrainian
Lily is a very independent girl. She comes home from school alone, eats lunch alone, and plays with her friends or draws by herself. But there's a problem — sometimes the girl becomes invisible. This happens when her parents are busy with their own things and tell Lily not to get in their way. This story is for all independent children, but especially for their parents — after reading it, you'll see that nothing is more important than spending time with your children and paying attention to them.
Transparent Lily is a metaphorical story by Croatian writer Ksenija Kušec, illustrated by Croatian artist Jelena Brezovec. The main character, a schoolgirl named Lily, notices strange changes: her body—her arms, legs, face—becomes transparent when her parents distance themselves from her, immersing themselves in work or forgetting about her. To understand these transformations, Lily keeps a diary, recording her emotions and the events that accompany her “transparency.” Translated from Croatian by Volodymyr Krynytskyi.
